Steps to Install WordPress on HostGator C-Pannel-

There are many ways to install WordPress on Hostgator c-panel But in this post, we will be using quick install to create a WordPress blog. As using Quick install method is the easiest way to get started with WordPress, because by using this method you can easily start a blog within 5 minutes, even if you are a newbie. All you have to do is just follow these simple steps.
#1 Login to you HostGator C- Panel by using the credential sent by HostGator.
Once you have logged into c-panel scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Quick Install under “Software and Services.”
#2 On the next page, on the left sidebar, click on WordPress under popular install. Now you will see “Install WordPress for Free”, so just click on the install WordPress button.
#4 On the next page, you have to fill some information to get started with WordPress install.

1– Drop down, select the domain on which you want to install WordPress, If it’s your first blog then you will have only one option.
If you have the baby plan or above plan of HostGator hosting then you can host multiple websites on your hosting package.
2– Admin Email- Put your email here so that an information about the installation of WordPress can be sent to your email.
3– Blog Title- Name of your Blog, you can always change it later.
4– Admin User- It will be the username of your WordPress blog. Make sure you don’t use admin as a username.
5– First Name- It will be added to the admin profile, you can change it later.
6– Last Name- Your last name, This is also the part of admin profile, you can change it anytime through your dashboard.
After filling all the above information correctly click on Install WordPress button.

#5 Now it will take few minutes to install WordPress, Once its installed It will show a message Your Install is Complete, just like the image below.
You will also get an email with the dashboard link, username & password.
Now simply click on Admin URL or go to “www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin”. Enter your credential i.e.- username, password and click on login button.
